Join an MSECA Workgroup in 2025

MSECA’s Workgroups have been instrumental in identifying, recruiting, and selecting speakers & presentations for all of our educational events.

 If you or someone on your team would like to join one of our Workgroups and help MSECA put together excellent educational programming, please reach out to us at info@mseca.org.

Our 2025 Workgroups will include:

  • Site Investigation & Remediation Design Workgroup
    • The SI&RD Workgroup will work to develop a 1/2 day educational agenda for two in-person Meetings in May & October and for our Virtual Conference in December.
  • PFAS Workgroup
    • The PFAS Workgroup will work to develop a 1/2 day educational agenda for an in-person Meeting in May, a Virtual Meeting in September, and our Virtual Conference in December.
  • Vapor Intrusion Workgroup
    • The VI Workgroup will work to develop a 1/2 day educational agenda for a Virtual Meeting in April, an in-person Meeting in October, and our Virtual Conference in December.
  • IDEM Cooperation Workgroup
    • The IDEM Workgroup will work to develop a 1/2 day educational agenda for an in-person Meeting in February.
  • University Involvement Workgroup
    • The goal of this Workgroup is to help MSECA make connections with academic programs and encouraging student participation.
      • Assist MSECA with making connections with Professors and academic programs.
      • Encourage student and professors to make presentations on their research to MSECA’s Membership.
      • Review student-submitted presentations, make selections for MSECA events, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Regulator Updates & Long-Term Stewardship Workgroup
    • The Regulator & LTS Workgroup will assist with involving Regulators as speakers at any MSECA event and look for opportunities to provide education and presentations from Regulators.
  • Emerging Contaminants Workgroup
    • The Workgroup will look for opportunities to keep the MSECA Membership informed about emerging contaminants and provide speakers at MSECA events and information that can be provided to the membership.
